Our Chi Rho group is for young people P6 and older. We gather every 2nd Sunday as part of the 10.30am Sunday service at Barnhill St. Margaret’s but move to the Church Hall to continue our own bible-based discussion and activities. These activities usually centre around food and games which are linked with the theme of that week’s service.
Chi-Rho are on a short break at the moment. More information to follow.
At Barnhill St. Margaret’s children are welcome at both our Sunday services. However, should you prefer, a crèche facility is available at our 10.30am Sunday service. Children can be dropped off with our crèche volunteers in the vestry from 10.20am.
Building on the success of ‘I’m a Bible Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here 1’ earlier in the year we held another one-day holiday club on Monday 12th August 2024. This was based on our previous theme of I’m a Bible Celebrity but with new trials, games and activities. Over 20 children attended and everyone had a great time. Thank you to all the helpers who made the day successful.
Look out for our next adventure…..

This is a once-a-month time of craft, worship and eating together for the whole family in the Barnhill St. Margaret’s Hall. Normally held on the last Saturday in the month at 4.00pm to 5.30pm (not July or December).
We start with some fun crafts, have something nice to eat, then end with a bible story and some songs. Suitable for all ages; children must be accompanied by an adult.
Our future meeting dates are:
28 September, 26 October and 30 November
Our Sunday School at Queen Street East has gone back to its traditional name. Our youngest children are welcome to come along, with or without a family member. We are currently using ‘Spill the Beans’ materials. The children are normally included in the first part of the Church service then go through with their leaders to the hall. They have some joint activities and then split into groups – including Bible class. The children are involved in maintaining a box in the Broughty Ferry community Garden, baking when the opportunity comes as well as a litter picking around Broughty Ferry.
The Sunday School have led the congregation to sponsor the Koroma family in The Gambia allowing the three children to attend school and College.

Tots and Toddlers meet in the Church Hall. The groups meet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9.30am until 11.00am during school term time (as per Dundee Council Schools timetable). Tots and Toddlers will return on Tuesday 20 August and Thursday 22 August.
Our groups are for parents/grandparents who have care of pre-school children and would like an opportunity to meet up with others in the same position. This time together gives a chance for children to socialise with each other and for adults to have some support and company.
There is a wide selection of toys available and we also have enclosed outdoor space when weather permits. Snacks are provided as well as tea and coffee for adults.
